I have the same problem with our poodle. If I need to go make coffee or go to the toilet ‘cos I don’t like to disturb her as it could make her uncomfortable.
For me (and usually Billy) it is a cat that somehow turns into a lead weight whenever lays on someones lap or chest thus making him impossible to remove.
