Years ago, even before the pandemic I planned to end Whiskey Falls. I always intended to end it with Billy and Amy getting married.
For a while, my comics were frozen in 2019. Work and raising my daughter didn’t afford me the time I needed to work on the strip; and I thought Whiskey Falls was just going to end with the strip with the weird buzzing thing in Walters office.
I love drawing my comics and I was itching to start a new project. So I set eyes on January 2026 of having a new strip start. But I had already written several Whiskey Falls strips including today’s strip. So I figured I needed to finish it properly before saying goodbye to the village of Whiskey Falls.
So this is the end of Whiskey Falls.
